This steel for pizza has solved my problems with trying to bake my crust. I make my own dough, I wait for several days, but electric ovens just were not keeping the heat well enough to get the quality I wanted to achieve. I tried pizza stones, heating them, putting the pizza on them. I also thought about buying a special pizza oven to get a higher temperature. But actually, following the instructions with seasoning, and using a pizza peel, I was shocked by how well the crust baked and how quickly. I am very happy with this product, and highly recommend it - but also warn - to make sure to read the instructions first to season the steel and on care, because I never would have known otherwise - and would have likely not used the steel in the proper way!
