After a few days IMO pretty good. It looks solid, I hope it will last a few years. There is a bit of work to be done with calibration, so far I see that the effective band from the nominal range of 0-1023 is basically ~400 (very dry soil) to ~100 (very moist soil) with full "immersion" of the probe bayonet in the ground. How this translates into real soil moisture, whether by weight or volume, or the coefficient of elongation – I have no idea (yet). Maybe one day I'll find time to measure all this, if the enthusiasm for caring for plants doesn't go away.

Po kilku dniach IMO całkiem nieźle. Wygląda solidnie, mam nadzieję, że wytrzyma parę lat. Jest trochę roboty przy kalibracji, póki co widzę, że efektywne pasmo z nominalnego przedziału 0-1023 to w gruncie rzeczy ~400 (ziemia bardzo sucha) do ~100 (ziemia bardzo wilgotna) przy pełnym "zanurzeniu" bagnetu sondy w ziemi. Jak to się przekłada na realną wilgotność gleby, czy to wagową, czy objętościową, czy współczynnik wylgotności – pojęcia (jeszcze) nie mam. Może kiedyś znajdę czas na pomierzenie tego wszystko, jeśli zapał do opieki nad roślinkami nie minie.

Excellent idea, but I lack information about scaling, how it looks in different soils - what is the accuracy. Do you have to do the calibration yourself (such information is not a product defect, but some activities to be performed).

Doskonała idea, brakuje mi jednak informacji o skalowaniu, jak w róznych gruntach to wyglada - jaka jest dokładność. Czy trzeba samemu zrobic kalibrację (takie informacje to nie wada produktu a pewne czynności do wykonania).

There is git, I bought it for the shelly ad on module to automate irrigation in the garden. It works, although in this system, an increase in the percentage on the display means drier soil, so an option to reverse the signal would be useful. Yes, I'm happy :D

Jest git, kupiłem do modułu shelly ad on celem wykonania automatyzacji nawadniania w ogrodzie. Działa, chociaż w tym systemie wzrost procentów na wyświetlaczu oznacza bardziej suchą glebę, więc przydałaby się opcją odwrócenia sygnału. Tak to jestem zadowolony :D
