I spent a full month at the DeSilva Hotel at Pyrzowice (KTW), and it was and Amazing experience from start to finish. Despite the long stay, I felt right at home. The staff is friendly, always smiling, helpful, and attentive to every need. Another great feature is the food: the restaurant serves delicious, varied, and top-quality meals, which is essential when you spend so much time away from home. The rooms are clean and comfortable. I have been staying at the DeSilva Hotel for three years now, and every stay has been perfect. I spend a lot of time at this hotel for work, so I can honestly recommend it based on many stays. It's an excellent hotel. The rooms are always clean and comfortable, and the staff are friendly, professional, and never intrusive. Every room is equipped with air conditioning, a kettle, a refrigerator, and a safe, making the stay even more convenient. The breakfast is varied and delicious. During the day, guests can enjoy complimentary coffee, and there is also a water station with both still and sparkling water. The hotel also has a very good restaurant with quality food. Overall, it's an excellent place to stay, especially for business travelers. I'm always happy to come back.

Very noisy and light-footed

The food and personal was 5/5..with the exception of the times when long and loud discussions were taking place in the hallway during cleaning hours. Working night shifts and having to rest in the first part of the day made it very difficult to acomplish. In the rooms I have stayed in there were a couple of issues. In the first room by the elevator, in 221, the card lock on the the door was hard to use as it didn’t read the card easily and had to be tried multiple times before it actually opened the door and on a couple of occasions, I had to go back to the reception to have it checked as it wouldn’t open at all. After a night shift going back and forth to the reception is never an easy task. The big window in the room had a broken seal, as cold air would enter the room and create a lot of condensation, having to wake up and find a puddle of water near the window. I have changed the room for the second week to 121 due to the above mentioned factors and the terrible noise on the hallway. The second room was much better regarding the noise and the windows closed properly, however there was a thin stringent noise coming from the air conditioning unit that started once in a while and lasted for at least 30 minutes at a time before stopping only for some time and starting back again. The ac unit was not running all this time and there was no way to stop the noise, therefore resting properly was not ideal. Lastly, the hair driers in both rooms were very noisy and non eficient and produced a very hard smell of burnt smell of burnt electric wiring.

I have stayed at DeSilva many times, and I always leave happy. However, during my stay in October, the room was too cold. The staff was very kind and provided me with an electric heater, but it wasn’t working properly. The bathroom heating didn’t work, and the air conditioning wasn’t producing heat. I even got sick because it was so cold on some nights. I have only nice words about all the employees, but I wanted to highlight this heating issue, as it was really uncomfortable. Thank you for your understanding.

I had an amazing stay at your hotel! I really loved the gym and the breakfast, especially the chance to make my own fresh fruit juice. Everything was super clean, and the staff were kind and always ready to help. I even asked my company to make sure I stay at your hotel again next time!

Service was great. Food was good. Rooms are ok, but not the newest one. Location is very near to airport.

Amazing customer service, the girls at the reception always with the smile , understanding your needs. We requested travel cot in other airports before but this time we were surprised with the cozy cot with blanket and pillow. So cute for our little one. Food was great. If we travel from Katowice in the future we will definitely return. Thank you.

The facilities were nice, rooms clean and good location close to airport etc however staff made it very clear they didn’t like us and believe it’s cause we were English. They would laugh and stare at us, quickly walk away laughing when they saw us coming into the reception. Clearly gossiping about us. We weren’t rude or anything but found it very uncomfortable. They treated us like an inconvenience. We went down for food and they rolled their eyes as if we weren’t supposed to be there, but welcomed polish people coming in to eat. There was one approachable staff member who we thought was nice however later saw her pointing at us, gossiping and laughing with others behind the reception desk. I would not recommend going to this hotel.
