Neater Nest makes installing barn doors of ANY size a breeze. The clamps allow you to place them ANY WHERE along the wall - find the studs or backing, drill your holes, and attach each clamp to a STUD!! Other fasteners rely on using the pre-drilled holes in the bar, so if your studs are off by 1" (v. 16" o.c.) or the bar placement puts ALL the pre drilled holes off the studs, you end up relying on drywall anchors to support your 200 lb door or having to run a 8' section of MDF and then attach to it - not good. The Neater Nest clamps adjust to accept just about any depth (e.g. 6mm) or height (e.g. 2") of bar. They come standard with extra hardware so that you can also attach them directly to a concrete wall if needed. And you can get offsets from Neater Nest if you need to the door to be further away from the wall. However, I wasn't able to use it as intended because the alignment hole was approximately 1/4" lower than my original measurements, and the bracket interfered with the door trim. Clamps are easy to install, serves its purpose for the ease of not having to install a board. Clearance from the door to the bracket might be an issue and also a soft close option on the door is unusable. That was a downside to using these brackets.

Love the product. Was able to drill into the studs using x3 brackets. The factory hardware had pre-drilled holes in the hanging bar that didn't line up with studs. This product fixes that problem.

It is exactly as described. Hang your barn door rail directly on the studs, regardless of location. No header board needed, so no giant gap between the door and the wall! Our contractor was so impressed. He’s definitely going to recommend them to his clients.

Worked perfectly! Very easy to install and very sturdy.

These are great and saved me from needing a header board or drilling holes into the support rail. The only part I didn't realize was that I had to get specific rollers that would clear the clamps. Once I did that it all worked out.

Great option to ensure bracket is bolted to each stud plus the clamp style allows you to adjust the rail to ensure it is level!

These brackets are Genius! So genius that I highly reccommend even though I wasn't able to use them for my barn doors. I know I'll find them useful down the road, so I have no regrets. I bought two barn door kits which had pre-drilled holes for the hardware. The space between the bottom of the brackets and the top part of my door was just shy of being large enough. Drilling new holes for the door hardware wasn't an option. Luckily my husband was able to drill new holes in the mounting bracket to match up with the studs in the wall. In my opinion, the needed header board, if your studs don't line up, is unattractive and I was determined not to use one. I was trying to avoid asking my husband for help, as he was healing from an injury. Stumbled upon your youtube video in my research. Crazy GENIUS! So, people need to be aware if they're buying a kit that these brackets may not work. If you're drilling you're own holes for the hardware, these brackets are the only way to go! GENIUS!!
