Welder took over a week to arrive, i thought it would have been quicker as i'd ordered from the UK website but it looks like theyre sent from Poland. When it was delivered I opened the plastic wrap & the box wasnt closed properly, the welder had been packed with some random foam bits that looked like someone had found them in the rubbish. To be honest the way it was packed looked like i'd bought a second hand welder from someone on ebay ! When i contacted Paton & asked if they had accidently sent a refurbished unit instead of a new one they said the box had been opened by customs, but ive had parcels opened by customs before & they always put a label on it letting you know theyve opened it. As for the welder itself it's only had very light use at the moment but its performing well, the instructions are pretty useless & you have to work out how to get through the different programs & settings yourself, but its not too hard, its got a 5yr guarantee so we'll see how that goes.
