I use the M5Dial in conjunction with Home Assistant and ESP Home. Plug it into the PC, complete the initial setup and it's online. The display is easy to read, touch and rotary encoders work perfectly.

the M5dial is really awesome. The simple installation in hole cut-outs makes the dial quick to install. The large encoder is ideal for many applications. However, only 16 pulses per revolution are recorded. The whole thing has to be programmed in UI Flow 2, which can only be done online. I prefer offline IDE's.

der M5dial ist richtig genial. Der einfache Einbau in Lochausschnitte machen den Dial schnell einbaufähig. Der große Encoder ist ideal für viele Anwendungen. Allerdings werden nur 16 Impulse pro Umdrehung erfasst. Das ganze muss in UI Flow 2 programmiert werden was nur online geht. Ich bevorzuge eher offline IDE‘s.
