After installing 18650 batteries and activating via USB-C, easy setup via MeshCore Webflasher. Range is very good - better than self-assembled solar repeaters with Seeed nee 52840y Solar power is now of course more than sufficient in summer, how it is in winter remains to be seen.

Reichweite ist sehr gut - besser als bei selbst zusammengestellten Solar Repeater mit Seeed nee 52840y Solarleistung ist jetzt im Sommer natürlich mehr als ausreichend, wie es im Winter ist, wird sich zeigen.

Good, well-thought-out Meshtastic node for remote areas. For a stationary application, the GPS module (P1 Pro) version is not absolutely necessary, as the location can be stored in the configuration. The matching batteries (18650 - Button Top), *not* the ones with the flat positive pole, have to be bought separately. Here you should pay attention to the highest possible capacity and good quality of the battery cells. For good coverage I recommend an external antenna ( Attention: There is a reverse SMA socket installed because of the FCC specifications !) Except for the batteries, the Solar Node Plug and Play is out of the box. 👍️

Guter, durchdachter Meshtastic Node für abgelegene Gebiete. Für eine stationäre Anwendung ist das GPS Modul (P1 Pro) Version nicht unbedingt erforderlich, da der Standort in der Konfiguration hinterlegt werden kann. Die passenden Akkus (18650 - Button Top) also *nicht* die mit dem flachen Pluspol, müssen noch extra hinzugekauft werden. Hier sollte man auf eine möglichst hohe Kapazität und gute Qualität der Akkuzellen achten. Für eine gute Abdeckung iempfehle ich eine externe Antenne ( Achtung: Es ist wegen den FCC Vorgaben eine Reverse SMA Buchse verbaut !) Bis auf die Akkus iist der Solar Node Plug and Play out of the Box. 👍️
