Comfrey Live Crowns (1) - Russian Bocking 14 Cultivar

I forgot to plant my root cuttings when they arrived, got them in a big pot outside about 3 1/2 weeks late. That was 2 weeks ago and all of them are thriving with large leaves already?! 💪

Ordered the comfrey crowns to go with the 2 I purchased the previous year. I have them in a pot in the house until spring. They're doing so well they have flower!

They arrived in good condition and were almot immediately planted in the ground. They are doing well.

I have had to wait to be able to make an honest accurate evaluation of the Comfrey bundle. All was package well and made it through USPS delivery and upon receipt I unpackaged and placed the crown and root cuttings in water with root stimulator to soak overnight. I planted all in a large contained with a good composted potting mix and within three days the crown began to send up new shoots. I have ordered cuttings from other sources before with no luck but of the four cuttings sent three have begun to send up shoots.

It didn't take long to receive my order and I followed the instructions. I was unsure if it would grow with the experiences I have had in the past with trying to start plants from roots. It quickly sprouted into a nice looking plant.

The comfrey rooting and borage seeds arrived so quickly, I was happy about that. The comfrey, once planted began to grow soon! It seems so healthy. Thank you

My comfrey nibs arrived and i let them sit on the table for three more days. I finally planted them and they emerged a short time later. I was worried they didn't live, but they worked. I'm so pleased to have some comfrey in my herb collection.

Unfortunately, mine did NOT survive.

The roots and crowns grew right away! They sprouted beautifully and the leaves were growing well too… unfortunately the dang deer found them and destroyed them. I will be ordering more

Strong, healthy plants that took off quickly! Had leaves within 48 hours of planting and they have done well despite the heat and drought

Could see that it was trying to grow when it came. Just put it in the ground. It's doing it's best against the grasshoppers but it is coming. Hoping as it gets bigger, it'll beat the hoppers out.👍️

The crowns were in excellent condition. They grew very quickly. Very happy with the purchase.

They grew!!! They were small. I put them all in one pot and it took awhile but they are all up. Now to transplant them in their forever home.
