Raspberry Pi 4 aluminum case - Argon Neo - grey

The only passive cooling system with openable hat for rpi4b

The only passive cooling system with openable hat for rpi4b

🚀 the bottom of the case is plastic, and the rest is aluminum, the set includes rubber feet and a thermo pad, which must be properly cut to last for the processor and WiFi chip, the top cover is for a hook and neodymium magnets, which makes it quick to disassemble - a big plus for this functionality, there are also screws in the set in the amount of 6 pieces, the enclosure fits very well with the Pi 4B board (laminate). In my case, the case dissipates heat well, which you can feel when you touch it, but I'm still thinking about connecting a small and quiet fan.

The idea of a magnetic closure is cool, but it's not suitable only when the raspberry is lying quietly on the table. It would still be useful to have an optional permanent closure, e.g. a small screw.

I recommend!

Polecam!

The presentation of the szpanerka, the workmanship is very good. It is a pity that the bottom cover is not aluminum either.

The case is great, meets my expectations.

Obudowa jest super, spełnia moje oczekiwania.

Very aesthetic and nice appearance. Good cooling performance when installing Home Assistant on Raspberry PI. I recommend.

Polecam.

It looks nice, easy access to the GPIO pins, and above all, it perfectly cools the raspberry passively :) temperatures at idle about 10 degrees lower than with the standard housing

Ładnie wygląda, łatwy dostęp do pinów GPIO, a przede wszystkim wspaniale pasywnie chłodzi malinkę :) temperatury przy idle około 10 stopni niższe niż ze standardową obudową

The housing looks and feels solid. It has a place for a dedicated Pi webcam - cuts for ejecting the webcam (larger webcams do not fit). Easy access to connectors, although recommended fan may cover them. The housing is neat and aesthetic. I have not yet measured how it deals with the cooling of the raspberry.

Obudowa zgrabna i estetyczna. Jeszcze nie mierzyłem w jaki sposób radzi sobie z chłodzeniem malinki.

The product meets expectations, the device can be left overnight to work and sleep peacefully without being irritated by fans, maintaining a good temperature.

Produkt spełnia oczekiwania, urządzenie można zostawić na noc na pracę i spać spokojne bez irytacji wiatrakami, utrzymując dobrą temperaturę.

Great housing, passive, nothing hums. I recommend

Super obudowa, pasywna, nic nie szumi. Polecam

The housing is made very nicely Simple assembly Passive cooling, silent. During normal operation (eg watching a movie in HD) the CPU reaches about 50 degrees [C], which is normal. The cover of the housing is a bit loose on these magnets, it can slide out if someone improperly catches it, but it does not fall off itself, it stays rather well.

The price-performance ratio of this case is excellent! There are minor flaws, but it's not plastic, so that each copy is the same. Thanks to the use of aluminum and two pieces of thermally conductive "plasticine", the housing helps to dissipate heat from the electronics of the Raspberry Pi 4 (although it could be better ;-)). Easy access to the terminals will especially please occasional DIY enthusiasts who want to secure the computer when they do not connect anything to it (interesting fact: the Sense HAT turned out to be small enough to cover it with the top cover of the housing). The hole around the GPIO pins is large enough to connect the tape (I checked). In the case of HAT overlays, those with the option of temperature measurement (eg Sense HAT) may inflate the reading value by the hot Raspberry. :-( The problem may be solved by mounting the HAT next to the housing. Unfortunately, the only solution that can help is not the cheapest, and I have not tested it yet (https://botland.com.pl/raspberry-pi-hat-ekspandery-wyrożen /18913-phat-stack-ekspadner-wy wypen-do-raspberry-pi-zecja-do-samdzielnego-lutowania-pimoroni-pim321-606034876354.html). Information for people looking for a way to transfer HAT overlays next to the Raspberry Pi.

Otwór wokół wyprowadzeń gpio jest wystarczająco duży by podłączyć taśmę (sprawdziłem).

It dissipates heat well, but it's not perfect - it keeps warming up.

Minimalistic, aesthetic housing.

Minimalistyczna, estetyczna obudowa.

Very good housing. Raspberry does not overheat and there is access to all connectors.

Good-quality, aesthetic housing, which is also a heat sink. A great advantage is the removable cover that provides access to the connectors that the raspberry has.
