We stayed in one of the apartments and overall our stay was lovely. The apartment itself was very comfortable and well equipped, the spa access was a great bonus, and the breakfast was absolutely delicious.
However, there were a few disappointing points that took away from the experience. As soon as I booked, I emailed to explain that we would be flying into Gdańsk around 9:30am and asked about early check-in. I was told that if the room was available, early check-in would be possible. When we arrived, we were made to wait in reception for around 20 minutes with no explanation and were then charged an extra 150 zł for early check-in, which was never mentioned in the email response. This felt unfair, especially as we checked out at 5am on our last day, so we didn’t even make full use of our final night.
Additionally, on one of the nights there was a party in the white tent outside which continued until around 2am. This was very disruptive as we had to be up at 6am the next morning. When I phoned reception to ask about the noise, I was essentially told to deal with it and make a complaint in the morning, which wasn’t very helpful at the time.
Aside from these issues, we really did enjoy the apartment, the spa facilities, and the food. With better communication around extra charges and more consideration for guests when events are taking place, this could be an excellent place to stay.
