A pleasant hotel for families in addition to interesting attractions.

The pool is a bit small for such a large facility. Breakfasts are good, the playroom is small, but nicely decorated.

The hotel itself fits well into the surroundings, it is low, intimate, in a mountain but modern style. Located on a hill, by car strongly uphill. There are two outdoor parking lots and one underground, but they are quite small, sometimes there was a lack of space. We were in an apartment with a separate bedroom and a small kitchenette, for families with children I recommend this solution. Of the downsides, unfortunately, the refrigerator sometimes turned on loudly, so you could hear humming. The blackout curtains at the junction did not overlap, and every parent knows what the morning flashes of light in the room end up with... 🫢 The bathroom is beautifully decorated, in a cozy style, with a large shower. There was no stool for the little ones to reach the sink. The pool area is small, the paddling pool is very shallow, probably only 40 cm. Rubber ducklings stole the show, my daughter didn't want to get out of the water :) However, for hygienic reasons, they should be replaced from time to time because they have holes and moisture certainly collects fungus inside. It's a pity that there is no jacuzzi inside. The outside is big, but in case of bad weather, you won't use it anymore. Breakfasts without reservations, varied, large selection, tasty and fresh. The children's table is the same sweet, you could think about increasing the choice of dishes for the little ones, but not only sweet. The playroom is a mini monkey grove, some books, a little more toys would be useful. The pizza making workshop was great, an interesting proposition for worse weather when you stay in a hotel. Overall, we are satisfied, the stay was successful and I will recommend the hotel to my friends especially for family holidays.

This is our next stay at this hotel this year and at the same time the second time in exactly the same room, so we have a good comparison both with the standard from previous visits and with the condition of the room itself from a few months ago. Unfortunately, this time the impressions are definitely worse. First of all, a high staff turnover is very visible. New employees do not always know the standards and equipment of individual rooms, which caused unnecessary problems and confusion already at the booking stage. In the case of a five-star hotel, I would expect much greater knowledge of the product offered and more efficient guest service. Another issue is the organization of check-in. The hotel day starts at 4:00 p.m., and despite this, the rooms were not ready on time. Guests were waiting for them to be handed over, and the check-in itself was additionally extended. It is hardly surprising that people are growing frustrated who, despite the late start time of the hotel day, still cannot enter the room after their arrival. Unfortunately, there were also very basic requests addressed to the staff. We asked for an additional duvet, but despite the report, it was not delivered to the room. In the end, I had to go to the reception to get it myself. It may seem like a small thing, but in a five-star hotel, it is precisely such details and the way of responding to guest requests that should distinguish this standard from lower-category facilities. The room itself also left a lot to be desired in terms of cleanliness and the condition of the equipment. It was not cleaned thoroughly, and the iron on the equipment had a badly burned foot, which was why using it was associated with the risk of destroying the clothes. The most puzzling, however, is the fact that since our previous stay, i.e. for several months, the roller shutter in the window has still not been repaired. The problem is particularly troublesome because there is hotel lighting outside, which the guest cannot turn off. There is no other curtain or working blind in the room, so light enters the interior throughout the night. Knowing that the malfunction has existed for months, it is difficult to consider it a temporary malfunction. A separate topic is the restaurant and tableware. The number of chipped plates is downright staggering. Both during breakfast and dinner, you can get the impression that it takes more luck to get on a plate without damage than on a damaged one. In a five-star hotel, such tableware simply should not end up on the table. It's a pity, because we come back here for a reason and we know that the hotel can offer a much better level. The current reduction in standard is all the more noticeable – both in terms of organization, preparation of rooms, maintenance of equipment, and attention to detail.

Super hotel, fantastic meals, nice service and perfect location

We spent an absolutely perfect weekend at the Bergo Resort & Spa hotel and honestly I have nothing to complain about. Upon arrival, the clean, elegant and modern environment is impressive. The rooms are beautiful, designer and thought out to the last detail. We had the outer room behind another door in the hallway, which ensured perfect silence and privacy – no noise from the hallway or from the neighbors, we slept great. From the outside heater you could hear people talking, but nothing big. Relaxation is taken care of by the wellness zone with an indoor pool and a great jacuzzi, where you can switch off perfectly after the whole day. I tried a full-body massage right in the hotel and it was an absolutely perfect experience - the staff was as professional as possible. A small detail may be that the staff does not speak English that much, but this is completely understandable given the location right next to the Polish-Czech border. We always communicated without any problems and I definitely don't take it as any negative. A huge plus is also the outdoor sitting by the fire, which has a magical atmosphere in the evening. The evening program with a live singer was also a pleasant variation, I would probably recommend something faster in the repertoire after a day-long tour, but that's taste by taste, but the singer was really good. The gastronomy offers a rich and varied variety of dishes, everything was fresh and very tasty. Meat, from mouth to ear. The hotel has a rather calmer impression with an adult orientation, but during our stay even the children spent time happily here. The occupancy was pleasantly balanced – the resort was not crowded and the premises were relaxed and there was a relaxed peace and quiet.

The room made a very good impression on me. The décor is modern, elegant and cozy at the same time – everything is pampered in detail. Functionality is also at a high level: a comfortable bed, a well-designed space, everything at hand, without unnecessary glamour, but with a sense of comfort. Breakfasts were tasty and really plentiful. A large selection of cold cuts, meat products and cheeses, and delicious cakes – it was possible to eat solidly and with pleasure. The only small doubt was about scrambled eggs – I had the impression that it could have been prepared from egg powder, not fresh eggs. However, this is a trifle with a generally good buffet level. Unfortunately, I count the noise on the last day of my stay as a minus. An organized group organized a disco, which lasted until late at night. The rumbling of the ceilings was so intense that the coffee spoon on the table in the room was clearly buzzing.

Hotel BERGO met our expectations - a spontaneous 3-day stay in Szklarska Poręba and its surroundings. The hotel itself and the place are 10. A room that meets expectations, the standard of cleanliness requires adjustments (the issue of cleaning staff management). Very tasty breakfasts, a lot of variety, home-made products conquer the whole. We chose dinners from the menu, The service deserves praise MALVINA - a young, energetic waitress - offers dishes and drinks at a high level. SPA zone - a nice time after long hikes spent on mountain hikes. We recommend an outdoor jacuzzi, saunas, swimming pool, beauty zone - massages and treatments for everyone. The hotel design is excellent and visually impressive, but unfortunately a five-star hotel cannot rely on design alone. The biggest disappointment was the housekeeping. The room looked as if the cleaning staff had only 30 seconds to prepare it. The bed was very poorly made, the glass in the shower had clearly not been cleaned properly, and dirt was still left on the floor. The towels were also in terrible condition and far below what I would expect from a 5-star hotel. This is simply not the standard expected from a hotel of this category. The TV equipment also feels outdated. In 2026, a supposedly modern 5-star hotel should offer a proper smart TV with the possibility to stream content from common apps or from your own device. Overall, the hotel looks great at first sight, but a beautiful design alone is not enough to justify a 5-star experience. Based on the overall standard, I would consider this hotel suitable for a maximum of 3 stars — and even then, I would expect significantly better housekeeping. Cleanliness should be an absolute basic standard in any hotel category.

Accommodation in a beautiful, clean hotel, where the staff was always helpful. There was always enough food. The only problem we had was the wellness. From the pool to the outdoor whirlpool, you walked through the wellness area, where there was a relaxation zone where someone was always walking and disturbing, including children. Furthermore, some saunas, culture completely not observed (the hotel is not to blame). And from the outdoor whirlpool, people could look straight into the sauna, I found it quite strange. And yet it would take enough for everyone to have enough privacy.

Hotel with friendly service in a good location. Unfortunately there is a small amount of free parking spaces. The rooms are large, but very poorly lit with larger areas (small windows, weak lamps). Personally, I don't like the ceilings in the rooms in the style of raw concrete. With a large occupancy, the pool area is small.

Unfortunately, the stay in the hotel turned out to be a big disappointment. First of all, we did not receive any information from the reception regarding the location of individual zones and the use of hotel facilities. The biggest problem, however, was the sauna. On the hotel's website there is information that on Sunday the saunas are open until 11:00 p.m. It was because of the possibility of using the sauna that we decided to spend the night. Unfortunately, upon arrival around 9:30 p.m., it turned out that the sauna was closed. We believe that it is unacceptable to provide outdated or incorrect information on the website, especially when it directly affects guests' decision to book their stay. If we had known in advance that the sauna would be closed, we would not have decided to stay this accommodation. There was definitely a lack of communication, reliable information and an appropriate approach to guests. Unfortunately, the stay left a very negative impression.

Atmospheric hotel. Delicious food!

We went for the weekend with a good attitude. Unfortunately, the location was poor, parking the vehicle depended on Czech tourists who put their cars wherever they could. Even at the entrance to the underground car park. We came to the hotel straight from work with the attitude that we would have a good dinner in a 5* hotel. Unfortunately, in the micro restaurant the selection of hot dishes was very poor. About four dishes were poorly heated. The best was the soup, the rest is not appropriate in a 5* hotel. It was explained why there is an advertisement for takeaway pizza in the room. You have to eat somewhere else after dinner. The room was too cold for us, the air conditioning could not heat the interior. In the evening we went to the pool, which was similar in size to a large bathtub. In general, the spa environment was also not heated. The lifeguards at the pool were also nice, when they deigned to sit by the pool at all, of course, with their noses in their phones. What they were asked about was that they didn't know anything. Breakfast was also bad and the next meals were at a similar level (I fished twice for a hair of food) My wife got her pants dirty from a chair that was not cleaned after previous meals. At the next meal I started by shaking crumbs from the chairs. The staff was busy observing and mocking customers. The best moment of the weekend at Hotel Bergo was Sunday morning, after a quick bad breakfast at 9 o'clock we left the hotel. Of course, we never plan to go back there.

A very successful weekend, three-generation family trip. A truly five-star service deserves a special mention. Very polite and committed reception - thank you for the birthday surprise, we appreciate it very much. Excellent cocktails. We are coming back with very good memories and we will be happy to recommend Bergo as a place for a family trip, also in a larger, multi-generational group.

The hotel is cool, there is everything in the rooms except sanitary pads or tampons. Half of the guests are women, women have periods. I don't understand why there are no sanitary pads in a hotel where there are coffee machines in the rooms

The hotel is in a very good location, close to the ski slope and the center, this is a big advantage. The spa area with a heated pool is a revelation. The food and drinks in the restaurant are delicious. A sensational show of magic. Potter's decorations made a huge impression. Rooms are spacious and clean. Very nice service. I recommend

My first observation, the hotel certainly does not correspond to the 5-star standard. The interior is gray and gloomy, there are no fresh flowers. Anyone who arrives at the hotel in the afternoon has no chance of parking under the facility, there is really a lot of occupancy. The staff is helpful, especially the luggage master, for whom there is no problem and the guest's whim, which cannot be remedied. Clean and well-kept rooms, a lot of attractions on weekends for the whole family, but also in the evenings for adults. There is a playroom for children in the facility, the equipment works, it is clean, available for tokens, which can be bought on site. You can attach yourself to very worn, even torn and yellowed bathrobes. They are terrible, unusable, and yet they are offered to guests who use them at the pool or sauna. A lot of bass, a lot of toys for kids. Breakfasts are also at 6. A large selection of everything, fruits, vegetables, and for kids on weekends fresh waffles, jellies, dumplings, everything very colorful. For adults, Proseco for a good morning is also offered on the weekend.

The hotel and rooms are nice, the location is great and the staff is generally very nice. A big plus is the possibility of breakfast until late and a rich animation program - for example, the sauna ceremony was great. However, we came across several points for improvement during our stay. The choice of food was sufficient and tasty, but some dishes were just lukewarm, salads withered and the staff did not have time to take away the dishes. However, we were most disappointed that no one warned us about the Sunday closing hours of the wellness at 21:00, although they still state until 23:00 on the website and directly at the entrance. In addition, the sauna zone lacks sheets, there is no quiet zone and the staff lets guests go to the sauna in swimsuits. The hotel has great potential, but these organizational and operational shortcomings unnecessarily detract from its quality

I'm not Polish, but I've been living in Wrocław for five years and I love Lower Silesia with all my heart. I know it well, I love the Polish mentality, sense of humour, hospitality, and above all Polish cuisine. I also like to travel very much and during these five years we have visited a lot in Poland. I can say with full responsibility that the restaurant at the Bergo Hotel is one of the best hotel restaurants I have had the opportunity to be in. Both the choice and the quality of the food are really excellent. A special mention should be made of live cooking during breakfast, as well as a corner where you can bake waffles yourself – both for breakfast and dinner. Although it is called a "kids buffet", some bearded guests used it 😉 with great pleasure The buffet is very well thought out, the bread is fresh and delicious, and the hot dishes are of really great quality. Great respect for the chef! It's a pity that we're only here for two nights – although on the other hand, we wouldn't necessarily want 😄 to leave with a few extra kilos "as a souvenir" either And speaking of kilograms and ways to lose them – the hotel's SPA, although relatively small, surprised us very positively, especially with sauna ceremonies. Yesterday we came across a sauna ceremony completely by accident and we were delighted. We ran out of strength for the scrub in the hammam and other ceremonies. It's a pity that we didn't know about them earlier – we would have prepared properly! By the way, I strongly advise you to check the program and schedule of attractions in the hotel in advance. The ceremonies in the SPA are really worth attention, but that's not all – the hotel also organizes concerts, meetings with alpacas and many other interesting attractions. The hotel itself is really great. A spacious room, a Lavazza capsule machine, water, teas, bathrobes and everything you need to use the SPA. The bed – simply sensational. I definitely recommend it. It's a really high quality of rest. And on top of that, we managed to find a hotel at a very good price thanks to the promotion on Booking.com. 11/10 for everything! ❤️

À éviter si vous cherchez de la détente au spa. C'est un hôtel pour familles et non pour couples cherchant du calme. Les enfants crient dans la piscine à côté du spa donc pas de calme possible, et ils accèdent à la zone réservée aux adultes. Le service est plutôt du niveau d'un 4 étoiles. Pas vraiment de bar cozy pour boire un verre le soir. Le petit déjeuner et salé, presque rien de sucré. Parking souvent plein. Chambre froide à notre arrivée et pas très chaleureuse. Bref on s'attendait à beaucoup mieux.

Now we are accommodated and I can say a big disappointment in the restaurant, where you have to slowly take your plate somewhere.. where is the place.. the service is stuck. The food, the rooms are great. The black-haired receptionist is unpleasant on arrival. Unbelievable how unpleasant she was when I asked where we could park first. She immediately wanted ID cards. Furthermore, there is no peace in the saunas or a place to rest. Children run to the whirlpool and climb into the saunas.. terrible.. small and you don't rest at all. Not to mention the fact that it is written 16+ on the door. Impractical to go to the whirlpool through the saunas.. A beautiful place, but poorly solved with children who scream there until 21:00. The mattresses in the rooms are terribly soft and you can hear the noise from the upper floor until morning. A big disappointment.
