Doesnt disolve in boiling water but you are left with very grainy drink. It tastes really bad. I have been drinking prewetts chicory coffee for years and that one doesnt have this issue

Taste is overpowering if you use a whole teaspoon and bitter. That said it's not a bad alternative to coffee if your body cannot tolerate caffeine .
