Wool Very Thin Twill Flannel - Blue - WTT 15/02

The blue color on this WTT 15/02 is exactly as pictured, a really nice, deep shade. The texture is just right – not scratchy at all, which is always a gamble with wool.

Made a hood out of it and the fabric feels and looks fantastic!

Lovely feel and drape! The weight is perfect for a summer kirtle or a light jacket/spencer/waistcoat since it's not fulled. I also ordered it in brick red and cinnamon brown. The brick red didn't quite fit for the project I had in mind because it is quite a bit darker than what showed on my screen (I didn't order a swatch first) but it's still a lovely colour and I will definitely use it for another project soon!

Very nice fabric, but my 3m piece had at least two weaving faults where a long thread was was sticking out from the middle if the piece. This doesn't matter for my intended use but could be a problem to someone else.

Ordered this for a summer Peplos. Absolutley great :-)
