Wool Broken Diamond - Brown White - WD 38/01

This wool is thicker, not just the weight, the weave itself makes a difference, very durable, and amazing for blocking wind. The texture is scratchy, but when simply conditioned with lanolin, its smooth and silky. It also holds color very well, and amazing for winter.

Great fabric! Perfect combination of qualities - durable and warm wool that is soft and nice at the same time. Wonderful fabric! I honestly never had such a nice one before - I can tell the difference just by touching it. Soft and warm wool perfect for trousers, panel hats, gloves, hoses and other garments.

It is one of these fabrics you just want to wrap yourself in, instead of cutting it and using it for sewing... Soft and warm. The fabric is so nice that I am tempted to use it for other purposes than reenactment clothes only. Would make a lovely blanket or a pillowcase! Nice texture and really beautiful, eye-catching, ornamental diamond pattern. Lovely fabric, and the colour - oh my! It looks very authentic and natural, just like obtained in the process of plantdyeing. Matches the rest of my texiles perfectly. The fabric is thick, but not too stiff. It keeps warmth fantastically - not only thanks the fibers used, but also thanks to the way it drapes over the body. Pleasant and easy to work with, soft wool. I got so many ideas of what to sew out of it that I think I'll have to order more. Sorry, wallet. Beautiful fabric in a stunning colour - exactly what I wanted. Woolsome, I don't know how you guys did that, but the fabric is even more beautiful in real. Hats off!
