Wool Thin Twill - Terracotta Red - WKT 53/05

This thin diagonal twill is just wonderful. Great copy of the textile finds in terms of the weave and the thread counts.

Beautiful colour and feel

Beautiful fabric in a stunning colour - exactly what I wanted.

Wool so nice and soft that it would be a sin not to use it for some medieval hoses. The color is a bit more vibrant than I expected.

The fabric I received is EXACTLY in the colour shown in the pictures. I am honestly impressed - while most of the textiles suppliers don't put much attention to this detail, Woolsome just took the game to the higher level. 💪

First class quality, splendid texture and colour. It totally won me over! I am very fond of how this fabric presents itself - it's pleasing both to the eye and to the touch. Very nice to work with and effectively looking as a part of a finished garment. It's always difficult to find a good wool for reenactment, that is 100% pure and in a correct weave at the same time, but this order turned out to be a success. I will be back for more!

The detailed description was definitely helpful. Thanks to that there were no unpleasant surprises during unboxing - I got exactly what I ordered. Wonderful diagonal wool, will make a great costume. I am absolutely amazed with its looks in real. If you don't have a certain project in mind, it's still good to give this fabric a go - it's so thick, warm and dense that you will surely find a solution for it in a blink of the eye. Multipurpose textile for historical garments.

Nice fabric with great drape and lovely fabric.

A thin twill of beautiful, rich color, but still within the range of 15th and 16th-century possibilities. Very sturdy for its weight and fine weaving. I used it for joined hosen in a late 15th-century kit, and it was a perfect fit.

The best shade of red in my opinion ! I made a purchase with a lot of sample to decide which one I would pick. I'm making an antic thracian chiton for combat with it. The terracota red has really the quality of a warm red, that is not too flashy but still very bright. It goes perfectly with so many other colors as well. I'm in love with it.

Pure beauty, drapes in a lovely way. Plus, the colour looks just as if it was the result of plantdyeing, which makes it even better!

Just as thin as I was hoping, especially for summer-weight clothing. I can't wait to start sewing. Might have to make my wife a dress first though so she doesnt overheat this summer in the med-weight wool we got last year.

This fabric meets all of my criterias - has a historically accurate weave, naturally looking colour and great composition (pure wool). 10/10. The feeling when you order something online and what arrives in the package is equally nice as what you have expected, if not even nicer... For me it was the second case. Totally recommended!

The best wool for reenactment - different than modern suit wools and fleece available in most fabric shops. Thin wool that is not see-through at all thanks to the dense weave. Beautiful and dense diagonal weave in a lovely, historically accurate shade. I love how well visible the pattern is.
