Reenactment version of a softshell - historically accurate and out of the pure wool, though. Insulates perfectly while staying breathable. Nothing can beat that!

I ordered this to make a fabric bag for historical reenactment, and I'm very happy with the weight and feel of the wool. It will be gorgeous and durable, and I will use the scraps to make applique because I don't want to waste any of it! This wool looks dashing in real life. On top of that, it flows beautifully and isn't itchy at all.

This will be perfect for the 16th century partlet I have planned. It will be nice and warm!

This wool will make a great addition to my SCA kit. The fabric is fulled, but not too stiff.
