Wool Heavy Loden Fulled Twill - Rust - WWL 47/03

This wool is just perfect for reenactment. I can fully recommend it to everybody who hasn't decided on the purchase yet. This fabric meets all of my criterias - has a historically accurate weave, naturally looking colour and great composition (pure wool). 10/10.

This loden wool is perfect ! The color is a beautiful shade of orange / rust, that appears maybe a bit less saturated than on the picture, which is fine if not better. It has lighter threads of orange/golden yellow in it. This gives some range to the color and a natural look to the dyed wool. For those unfamiliar with the heavy loden fulled twill wool, it's really thick, raw and a bit itchy. Perfect for me to make a hat out of it !

Very thick and dense wool in a lovely color. Just a bit too stiff, in my opionion.

Making the product pictures reflect the true shade of the fabric is usually quite tricky, but Woolsome stood up to the challenge and completely nailed it. Kudos to them. Very authentic textile for reenactment. Beautiful colour, just as if it was plantdyed. Incredibly thick wool for even the most crazy projects. You'll surely appreciate the thickness of it, it's unmatched.

Heavy twill for medieval reenactment and much more. Heavy, raw and super warm. You can say just by touch that it's a pure wool.

I wanted warm fabric to my new cloak. And I got it.

A real piece of a solid, "bulletproof" fabric - even heavier than I expected. The colour is nicely saturated and vibrant. To sum up: a real gem worth every penny!
