Lovely medium fulled twill, you can easily fall in love with it. Everything fits in nicely here: the weave, the texture, the color, what this wool looks like, and how it feels to the touch.

I took a chance and ordered 7 meters of this without having seen it irl (for a viking-era baltic dress and tunic), and I am very very pleased. The blue is so deep and rich holy cow, and maybe a teensy bit lighter than on the website photos. I'm on sewing the tunic already and it holds its shape and drapes really really well. I wouldn't use this for a very full, drapy, 13th century dress for example, because it'd probably be quite heavy and a little hot, but for the viking-era it is absolutely 100000% perfect. I really can't wait until our full outfits are finished because they will look absolutely regal!!!

This fabric meets all of my criterias - has a historically accurate weave, naturally looking colour and great composition (pure wool). 10/10. Good color of fabric for reenactment clothes - saturated, yet natural. Plus, the fact that it's pure wool makes it even better!

Beautiful wool fabric, this medium fulled twill looks even better in real life than in the pictures. Top shelf fabrics. The quality of the wool has totally exceeded my expectations! I am also positively surprised how all the parameters such as thread count and grammature are true to the description.

Great fabric! Perfect combination of qualities - durable and warm wool that is soft and nice at the same time. Wool worth consideration. For a dress, a vest, a uniform or a period skirt.... even some small accessories like pouches - this fabric is beautiful and versatile. Perfect fabric for historical reenactment - pure awesomeness!
