Great stay

Clean, tidy and pleasant.

50,000 CZK for three nights for 2 adults and 3 children—that’s 4,000 CZK per person, per night. I have stayed in many five-star hotels, but this one deserves, at most, two stars. The rooms are old and worn-out; there is dirt everywhere—to the point where you feel repulsed at the thought of sitting down. There is almost no furniture or amenities; standard bathroom essentials are missing (even the soap dispenser was empty), the minibar was empty, and the furniture is extremely worn. The rooms are spacious, though. Dinner was very poor for a five-star establishment—the buffet and the food were like something out of an industrial canteen, with no table service. The saunas were smelly and poorly maintained, with dirt everywhere. The swimming pool was overcrowded, though otherwise fine and pleasant. At 4,000 CZK per person, per night, in a five-star hotel, the experience should be completely different. I definitely do not recommend it.

The food is a 10. Breakfast is simply great, the buffet is full of various delicacies! A very successful stay. The secluded location ensures peace and quiet. Clean and tidy. The sauna offering is great. Lots of options to choose from. The staff takes care of the guests' comfort. Everyone is very nice.

I have nothing to complain about when it comes to cleanliness.

Accommodation and food were perfect, the staff was helpful. The wellness area capacity is insufficient for such a large hotel and there was a very strong and unpleasant smell of sewage in the sauna area.

Very professional service and a great atmosphere. Pleasant, cozy, and intimate. The hotel is wonderful, I just love it! Mountain vibes :) Very clean facility. The rooms are very bright. There are simply tons of attractions for kids, the spa and pool are great, and even the room service is excellent! The meals are light, but you can easily stay full on them for the whole day. 👍️👍️👍️❤️❤️❤️

The hotel was overcrowded with families with small children; the dining room was really challenging - noise, kids running around everywhere, spilled drinks on chairs. In the pool, it was also packed, and that was when we went during a low-traffic time. Fortunately, the sauna area had a no-entry rule for those under 16. When we arrived, our room wasn't prepared for two adults and two children, but we sorted it out at reception right away and the maid soon made up the sofa bed and even brought children's robes. The hotel is aimed at families with small children, but if you want to rest and relax, go somewhere else. Hotel guests walk around the hotel restaurant in sweatpants and slippers - I have never experienced that in any five-star hotel.

Unfortunately, our stay at the hotel was a huge disappointment. First of all, the cleanliness left a lot to be desired. The rooms were not cleaned thoroughly, and the carpets both in the rooms and in the hallways were dirty, with numerous visible stains. The most unpleasant situation took place at the children's pool, where someone had defecated. It was accompanied by a terrible stench, and the whole situation was downright disgusting. It effectively discouraged us from using the pool area any further. Another problem was the meal organization. There was huge crowding during both breakfast and dinner. The number of guests was so large that it was difficult to move around freely, let alone eat a meal in peace or have a normal conversation at the table. Instead of relaxation, there was noise, crowding, and an atmosphere resembling a crowded canteen. From a hotel advertising itself as a holiday resort, we expected a definitely higher standard, primarily in terms of cleanliness, hygiene, and guest comfort. Unfortunately, the reality fell far short of our expectations. We do not have fond memories of our stay.

The service is top-notch - tactful, polite, and very engaged. The picturesque location of the hotel is a definite plus.

I like coming back here, a nice and quiet neighborhood. Everything is very clean and pleasant. You can see that the staff tries very hard. Very tasty breakfasts, a large selection and high quality. Overall, the quality of the food is very high. The rooms have a fridge, a kettle, a hairdryer, and a safe; there is also an ironing area. Professionals work here who know their stuff and know how to take care of the Guests.

Great hotel in the mountains. Located in an ideal spot. Very nice, friendly and helpful staff, beautiful, spacious and clean rooms. The food is excellent, both as part of the hotel dining and in the Piatti restaurant. A great pool area and wonderful SPA massages, only one note: The lifeguards should be active at the pool and firm regarding dangerous behavior. We encountered situations several times where children were being thrown into the pool (the one for adults), sometimes even onto other swimmers, which creates a health and safety risk - the lifeguards, however, just watched and didn't react. And that's what they are there for!!! Additionally, maybe it's worth introducing a rule that children's water toys cannot be brought into the adults' pool? The situation where the children's pool is empty, and the adults' pool is impossible to swim in because it's full of kids with rings, mattresses and other accessories, is quite questionable. This organization of the pool area is the only note regarding the stay. Other than that, everything is at the highest level!

The parking lot is large enough for dozens of cars and hundreds of guests. The same can’t be said for the undersized wellness area :-( The Finnish sauna can hold a maximum of 15 guests, and even then they’re sitting “shoulder to shoulder.” The air in there is stifling. And sometimes you even have to wait in line to get in, because there might be 30 people wanting to use it, but only about 15 spots available. The other three saunas aren’t as crowded. The relaxation area has only 8 loungers, so there isn’t enough room for people coming from the saunas. I didn’t see any sauna staff down there for the entire 4 days I was there, so airing out the saunas during the day and checking their condition is apparently beyond the resort’s capabilities. The pool looks good in the photos, but the hotel is popular with families with small children. This leads to overcrowding at the pool, sun loungers being constantly occupied, and the inability to swim or relax there properly. It’s similar at breakfast: the food is great, but the dining room was completely full in the morning, so the staff couldn’t keep up with clearing away the dirty dishes, and there was nowhere to sit. So you have to wait until someone finishes eating, the staff clears the table, and only then can you have breakfast. For families with children, the Platinum is very good; for couples without children, it’s less appealing for a return visit at some other time.

Unfortunately, the hotel is losing its charm. That second huge breakfast room is very unpleasant. Too many people, the metal chairs look like they're in a bus station waiting room. One buffet for that many people is not enough. The room should be divided and nicely decorated. Bathrobes and towels were full of holes and worn out. The water served with meals tastes like chlorine. Unfortunately, the bar staff cannot cope. You have to wait a long time for a waiter to approach. Used plates sit there for a very long time. We have been here a few times before and the dinner food used to be better.

Service worthy of a medal. Above all, hassle-free! Very nice people. The food is delicious. A large selection of salads for breakfast, you can have a light and healthy breakfast 😉 The facility is located in a good spot, close to both the center and nature. Sensational rooms - clean and fragrant. Pools, spa, saunas, bike rental, gym - everything you need is here!

Very poor organization for a hotel of this standard. Overcrowded. The room wasn't cleaned all day. Sent to a different restaurant for breakfast than previously agreed. Unpleasant staff. Reluctance to accept cash payments at the bar despite having a full till. No space to lie down on the sun loungers. Soap in the room not replaced. Stains on the floor.

Clean and fresh-smelling bedding - perfectly clean everywhere. The staff isn't overwhelming. You can feel looked after, but in a comfortable way. The hotel is in a super location. Close to the center of Szklarska, but also to the trails and ski slopes. Very good food at the hotel. The dinners made a huge impression on us! Worth the price. The balconies in the rooms are quite large.

The hotel is beautiful and clean, and everything looks lovely, that’s true. Food is very tasty. However, I believe the hotel is operating at almost twice its intended capacity. The queues and waiting times for absolutely everything are unbelievable. You arrive at the restaurant with two hungry children and can’t even find a free table to sit. Then you have to wait 10 minutes in a queue just to get some fries and plain water. This is not the kind of experience I expected after paying so much money. I paid for dinner at the hotel, yet it is almost impossible to enjoy it due to the overcrowding, while the food at Piatti restaurant (in hotel area) is almost half the price. We are extremely disappointed. Everything in this hotel is overcrowded including wellness area and swimming pool.

Very good spa area and top location – points deducted for cleanliness and lack of quiet at breakfast (More 4 than 5 stars) We booked this 5-star hotel because of its excellent location. The location absolutely delivers what it promises and is a perfect starting point. The spa area also completely convinced us: the swimming pool and sauna are very beautifully designed, and both the massages and the treatments were of absolutely first-class quality. Unfortunately, there were clear weaknesses in other areas that one would not expect in this hotel category. The housekeeping could definitely be better – it lacked the thoroughness required for a 5-star establishment. In addition, the breakfast area was extremely crowded and very loud in the morning, which made the start of the day a bit restless. However, a positive highlight of the breakfast was the buffet itself: it was very abundant, everything was available, and the selection left nothing to be desired. Overall, due to the deficiencies in housekeeping and the unrest in the morning, we are giving 4 instead of 5 stars. The hotel has a lot of potential, but management should urgently work on the cleanliness and the flow of guests at breakfast.

The choice of food for breakfast is huge, delicious and very diverse options. I am satisfied with the hotel, peace and quiet. The bathroom is large and clean. Nothing was missing in the equipment. The pool is really impressive, there is a place to swim. The saunas are large and well heated. Very nice lady at the reception.

Our room was spacious and clean and had a beautiful view. The hotel staff were excellent! We can't thank them enough for their kindness and professionalism. The hotel restaurant offers delicious food options that cater to various dietary preferences. There is a wide range of attractions, including a pool, sauna and an exceptional Spa. We love this place for its perfect location in the mountains and stunning views.
