At last delivery stage we had sudden complications, but since we followed doctors advise, we had normal delivery. Even midwife in westmead Private hospital took care of us soo well and doctor arrived hospital at correct time during delivery and took care of us. #####################

I would not recommend this doctor to anyone. My wife was seen by this doctor on 16th December and paid $295 for just 10 minutes service. It has been nearly 2 months, but the doctor has not even sent the diagnosis report to my GP despite calling their receptionist twice. How would my GP know what the problem was ? Such a poor service and rip off by so called specialist.

Worst doctor I have been to. She has absolutely no empathy - not sure why she's working in this field. I have some complications with my pregnancy and she didn't once explain the potential reasons for these complications. She would just keep saying 'eat protein' like black gram, Chana dal... We aren't all vegetarian firstly and this doesnt explain what exactly is happening. Then I asked her if my child had the chances to have a disability and she replied 'what do you want me to do about that?' My mother said 'my daughter is thinking this way because she works with kids like this' She replied 'well then she should stop working.' This lady is absolutely rude and arrogant and clearly money hungry. She double books patients as well. Thankfully I have found another OB who is kind and intelligent. He has asked me to get some blood tests done which she never even mentioned. I asked the receptionist to transfer the files to me for my new OB and she said she needs to see if Dr Kasturi is okay with it. I replied it is legally the right of a patient to have access to their own files. Immediately she must have gotten scared and sent all the files because she was reminded of the law. Horrible experience.

She is an expert in highlighting any risks beforehand and giving needed advice then and there during consultation.

Very Professional and great service by Doctor for my 1st child delivery. Would recommend to consult Dr. Kasturi for pregnancy and delivery related matters. Just contact her without giving any second thoughts. She is the best Dr. at Westmead private.

This is not about Dr, only. I am trying to contact Dr Kasturi regarding my report since October and now it's been 3months. The receptionist lady who works on Monday never pass my msg to Dr. She is always rude to me every time I call her. She always yell and she don't listen and top of your voice she will rudely answer back to you. She have no manners and she should not be in this facility. We patients are in need of Dr help and this kind of behaviour can make you more upset. I don't know how I will contact Dr directly just to discuss my reports and without appointment it is not possible.

I'm rewriting this review after 2 years. I now have a happy baby which would have been impossible without Dr.Kasturi's support. She was so kind and caring throughout my pregnancy and during my delivery ❤️ she suggests you the best. Just trust her during the process. The first thing to be mentioned is her positive approach and kind words.. I met her for the first time today and I felt so relaxed after her consultation.. I would suggest her if you're planning for pregnancy.. she will support and guide you through ❤️

She is wonderful! We were trying for a baby for last 6 years and consulted 20 plus doctors during this time, overseas and in Australia. Everyone except Dr.Ajantha Kasthuri recommended to go for IVF treatment, Dr. Ajanta Kasthuri asked us to take treatment for 6 months and if no success then to think about IVF. Even then we were not happy as all that what doctors said was similar to those what other doctors said in past. But we decided to wait 6 months doctor suggested and on the 6th month, I felt pregnant. We had no words for Doctor but were literally crying in front of Doctor with folded arms. Thank you Doctor, and team, our daughter is 6 months old now. You are and will always be remembered by us and may God reward you with the best.

I've been tossing up whether or not to write this for over a year but I feel like I should as I was definitely mislead choosing this doctor because of the positive reviews. I think maybe if you're having a baby she's really good, if you are experiencing medical issues I would steer clear. Even after my GP made me go back to demand she address my symptoms and I took an advocate with me to assist in getting everything across I was still dismissed by this doctor as my ultrasounds were clear, and I kid you not, my uterus was soft from the outside. A reminder that conditions like endometriosis rarely show on a regular ultrasound. She told me she was certain that if I had any endo (which she believed was unlikely) it would be the tiniest amount and would affect nothing, including my fertility which was a primary concern for me. Shortly after I met a new specialist who urgently booked me in for a diagnostic laparoscopy based on my own report of my symptoms (as in didn't immediately dismiss me as this doctor) and I had grade 3 endometriosis. All my reproductive organs were either twisted or rotated. They say the scarring from leaving it while I found a doctor who would listen is irreversible. I will never be without daily pain. I may never have children. Now I have to live with this, wondering if I was listened to the ten months prior to being treated there may have been less damage. If you're experiencing any medical issues choose another doctor. I would not recommend. You will spend a stupid amount of money trying to get this doctor to listen to you. Go see a different specialist first and possibily save yourself irreparable damage.

Dr Kasturi is very professional and caring. Had an elective caesarean and was very pleased with the care in surgery and also how the scar healed afterwards. I'm prone to keloids and my scar is very neat. Can't thank her enough for looking after me throughout the pregnancy and the safe delivery of our baby girl. Meagan the receptionist is amazing too. Also professional and super friendly, always enjoyed our chats when there. Will definitely be back for my second pregnancy. Highly recommend :)

Thank you for being such a great Doctor, I had a wonderful and warm experience from start till the end. You have been very personable, good listener and empathetic to all my concerns and queries. From the moment I met Dr Kasturi when we fell pregnant, She explained each process of my pregnancy clearly as it was my first pregnancy..and made sure my babies were closely monitored. My twin pregnancy was not a walk in a park by any means, all the complications towards my due date I started feeling anxious, nervous and restless. Dr Kasturi was very mindful of this and extremely supportive every step of the way and reassured me.. right through till now when I'm holding my beautiful twins in my arms, I've had the most amazing care and professional attention. I highly recommend Dr.Ajantha Kasthuri, you can blindly trust her , she is very good , gives you information that you would need at the right time.Doesnt mince words, very direct, tells you exactly what to expect at the right time without causing any unnecessary stress when it is not needed.she gives you the right advice. If you follow what she tells you everything will be smooth. She was god sent for my twin pregnancy.

The worst doctor I have ever seen.. she is least bothered about what we think.. she wants to make her job easier so she insists on inducing labour or a surgery.. she spoiled the best period of my Pregnancy.. and I suffered a lot of complications later on.. PLEASE DO NOT CHOSE HER AND REGRET LATER!
