Too fast and effective

Although the item was found and returned , an inquiry had to be submitted just to get the process moving. When I called the lost and found number I waited for hours to never get an answer. I understand , it is a big airport but I said that exact location I dropped it and didn’t get notified about it until after my trip so a week almost after the inquiry was placed. In my opinion if you charge for a fee to expedite your request of a lost item then there should be someone you can reach too that works in office for the lost and found but besides that the customer support was great and very helpful.

Information was shared daily as to the progress of the search. My item was found. Even if my item was not found I would still recommend this service for the diligence that was given.

I do appreciate that you found my ipad, however I do feel the fee of $45 was too much. Especially since there was no guarantee of finding my ipad. But having to pay the fee up front or you wouldn't even investigate or look for my ipad was wrong.

I was so overjoyed to have received back my iPad while it may have been physically replaceable the sentimental value behind it was not. It was a special gift on a special occasion from my dear husband and I sincerely want to thank the airport lost and found team for getting it safely back to me especially being that I reside outside of the US. It was a smooth and swift process and I truly appreciated the frequent communication and updates from the team from the onset to the time my item as back in my hand.

The airport service to recover my items was excellent, however in order to submit a lost item ticket, it was $25.00 and then I had to pay $70.00 to have it FedEx'd back to me. ~Margaret Bower Avenia
